21 days too many
Not sure if you guys have heard of it, but there's this challenge that involves; 1 bracelet, 21 days, and NO MOANING.
I've been doing this challenge since the end of November-ish and the closest I've got is 11 days. Now I'm not sure of that means I'm super relaxed, or I'm finding this way too hard, either way, bad times.
Every time you moan, you have to swap the bracelet to the opposite wrist and start from zero. It's harder than it seems.
My challenge for those that read this blog is to race me. Ready, set, GO!

Landan...SHE'S BACK!
I've been back in London about 4 days now, and It feel's like I never left!
I've only had one lecture so that basically means that I have masses of free time to spend a stupid amount of money. Monday was exxppeennnsive.
I finally went to Nando's. It was good. But i genuinely don't understand what the fuss is all about. IT'S JUST CHICKEN!
That aside, Monday evening I went to The Savoy Theatre to see Legally Blonde. I highly recommend. Seriously. Despite it being SO camp, it was SOOO GOOD! also an utter bargain! I was front row, close enough to get some fake hair on my knee....which was nice, for a tenner!
I realise that this has been more of a brag and review compared to my usual stuff, sorry about that, It won't become a regular feature.
Also, for those that care, I have got a few ideas for my Vlog, it's just a case of actually filming. So Watch this space for links and fings.

Less than a week left
As the title to this one suggests, I have less than a week left at home, and as sad as I am to be going back, I'm also equally excited.
I never used to be able to travel ANYWHERE, getting the bus was a challenge for me, but I've tackled the tube alone, and for those of you who actually know me, that's no mean feat.
Well that's like the MAIN one, I'm sure the others are as equally significant, I can't think of them all right now.
Since going to University I've become so much more independent. OK sure, I still can't eat alone, but in other ways I'm like, mega mature.
Purchases made recently that suggests otherwise include:

1 down...Lots left
So, that's the first "Potter" complete. Pretty damn good I must say, however, they didn't half miss out a lot of the interesting bits in the film. Cue immediate reactions of " Well shoulda read the books firsts yaddayaddayadda" I KNOW OK!
Anyway, I've just started the second in the series, the title escapes me at this present moment, however I know there's a nice blue car on the cover, and I like it.
On a completely not HP related note, I have just over a week left at home before I head on back to Uni, so make the most of me and my regular posting 'n' stuffs, cos I seriously doubt I'll have the time for the once a week sh'bang but i'll give it a bloody good go.
Another update on the WillyoubemyBeast front, is my YouTube channel. Its doing rather well, but a few more visitors would be nice, no pressure, no pressure. Here's the clicky things if you wanna mooch on over http://www.youtube.com/user/WillyoubemyBeast/featured
Until next time my friends. TARA

The Potter dispute
So there's always been a massive fan base for Harry Potter, and I'm aware of this. What I wasn't aware of however, was the amount of anger that is directed towards individuals that have seen the Films, but have not read the books. I will gladly admit, I am one of those.
Now before you bugger off in outrage, or press send on that disgusting comment you're about to leave, let me explain. The books were all bought for me, upon their release, and I tried to read them, I genuinely did, but I physically couldn't get past the first chapter without wanting to smash my face repeatedly with novel. So I gave the books to my family to read, they were returned and I tried again, but to no avail. I'm a massive fan of the films, and my reasoning for not reading the books was nothing to do with my hatred for the books, or those who read them. I'm not a hipster, I don't rebel, I just couldn't enjoy the books when I was younger (I'm aware that's hard for you to believe). Despite this, It became clear to me that if I wanted to call myself a "Potter fan" and finally shrug the abuse I've received regarding this "outrage" I'd have to read the books.
I'm now 19, and my mission for this break, alongside my new project of blogging/vlogging, is to read the series.
Don't think you've won, crazed Potter fans! I've not caved, I'm merely complying with the mentality of life, "I'll do it later"

Coming out
So, while at uni my flatmate and I decided we would make Youtube videos for each other, as basically something to do over the holidays, and it turns out I quite enjoy it.
Up until now, however, I had kept my "internet existence" on the D.L, especially from my real life friends, purely because I didn't want to make a complete Prat of myself....( can you say "Prat" on these things? technically I'm not saying it....I'll write it again and cross it out for effect....PRAT, much better) Well anyway, my secret existence is no-more!
I exposed myself.
I realise how rude that last statement appears but i'm leaving it, and you, there. Perhaps with an added disclaimer that this "exposing" is purely metaphorical, there was no nudity involved.

Hallo Der!
So this is all new to me, the whole "blogging" experience. A lack of stimulation and an increase in motivation has lead me here, and y'know what, I like it. Despite being new to blogging, I have dabbled slightly with vlogging....which i realise is pretty much the same thing, so now and again one of those bad boys may pop up....but you can ignore that if you like. So basically this area will be used as an outlet for my thoughts, creative moments and general ramblings, I think thats the idea though....right? Any way....LET'S DO THIS! Post a Comment → Share →
