The Mother of all Procrastinator's

   I'm one of those people that MEGA envies anyone that can do their work, hobbies, even hold conversations without getting distracted.

   'Cos I ain't one of them.

  As I write this I am currently on a "break" from a 1500 word essay. "That's not that much" you may say, or, " Everyone deserves a break once in a while" which is all true, except I haven't earned this break. I stole it.

  I'm currently 700 words into my essay and that has taken me two days. TWO DAYS. I used to be able to sit down, brainstorm and then BOOM essay done in a day. Somethings broken. I'm broken.

   So instead of doing my essay, I've done lots of other things. I shall list them for you;

  • Listened to the entire Lion King soundtrack. Not whilst working, I just sat and listened
  • Creeping on Facebook. In fact I did this so intently, I lost all track of how I ended up where I did. Skills.
  • I've been "working" for two hours and I've already have 4 very large cups of tea
  • Googled myself
  • Googled my Youtube
  • Googled my Blog
  • Updated my Blog
   I know that a lot of people procrastinate, and I'm sure while some of you are reading this on your "break" others are not, but that's cool, no judgement here.

   I gonna get back to my essay, Facebook creeping and obsessive colour coordinating of my folder, but I hope this helped you kill a few minutes of your day....it did for me.

  1. Kev, this is so me. The other day, I procrastinated by taking photos of the book I was supposed to be reading, and of the words I had written. At 2am!
    Ke-Kev and Ian.
