Pretty sure I can't be the only person in the world that manages to make mistakes constantly, its human nature, right?
I got a printer to take to Uni with me, to ultimately save me money in the long run cos printing is mighty expensive when everything you do has to be word processed.
I don't profess to be a techno-whizz, in fact, I'm probably the farthest thing from it, but I was hoping that once the hardship was overcome ( setting up the printer) everything would be easy sailing from there. How wrong I was.
Printing 1 page resulted in me being surrounded by countless pages of doubles-sided gibberish and covered in ink. I'm not even sure how it actually happened, anyway, this incident sparked something in my noggin'. Am I as useless as other joke I am?
It's a running theme amongst my friends and family, that my uselessness and regularity of faux pas', evoke general bemusement. Whilst wiping the ink from my face, I was thinking that others have to be the same. I know we're all different, but surely others have those moments where they even baffle themselves?
Then I got to thinking about the possibility of others doing exactly the same as me. If it was such a common occurrence, why is it still funny? Why is it still shocking when I emerge from my room covered in printer ink? Why are blunders, accidents, cock ups, whoopsies still the subject of hilarity, when its pretty much the norm?
Just a thought.
