So, I finished 50 Shades of Grey, and I can only reiterate my former opinions, I DON'T GET IT.
Seriously, what's that about?! The plot jumps all over the shop, not to mention the CONSTANT repetition of phrases, descriptions and graphic imagery. Yeah, yeah I know, everyone is saying the same things, it's either " Unputdownable(?)" or "So poorly written, I cried inside", I haven't reached either of these extremes. No, unfortunately I am left suspended in an unopinionated limbo.
In an attempt to rectify this, and gain some sort of grasp on what I think, I started the second book in the series.... and finished it. Still none the wiser, the plot is so jumpy I genuinely thought I had missed a chapter out, but no!
Anyway, I've started the third with the hope that it will provide the clear conclusion lacking from those prior it to it.
I won't hold my breath.
