I know, I know, it's been a while but I've got my excuses...you just can't have them.
As the title suggests, I am back in London, which means that shortly university year two will commence, scary right? Lots of things have changed, not just with my life, but the city in general.
Firstly, I've moved in to a new house, with two of my old flatmates, and a friend from my course, all goes well so far ( fingers crossed). Living in a house is super weird compared to the prison cell of a bedroom I had in halls. WE HAVE A COMMUNAL AREA, PRAISE THE LORD! As a treat I'll make a separate mini post about my house with some pictures and stuffs.
Secondly, and most importantly, WHAT ON EARTH HAS HAPPENED TO LONDON? I mean, come on! I know the Paralympics is on, and that's very exciting ( Insert plug for future Blog post here) but it is literally impossible to move! I thought it was busy before, but this Country girls way out of her depth. I understand I have the worst of it, living in East London and all that. But It's not just the tourists, it's the "Helpers". If I am standing at a DLR stop, reading the board for the next train, don't just assume that I need your "help". Don't strut over, in your pink top, or yellow hi vis and start telling me where I want to go. I KNOW. If I wanted help, I probably wouldn't ask you ( there's an app for that) but I'd keep you in mind!
It's like when you go in those shops and they immediately pounce on you " Would you like any help?" except they aren't asking, their assuming I need them. I hate that.
So anyone that actually knows me is most likely reading this thinking " Kerry, you probably did need them, you're rubbish with travel". You're right, I am rubbish with travelling, but I want to try. I don't wanna be that person that stays at home 'cos they cant get on a bus to Bridgwater without ending up in Burnham...
Well, that escalated into a rant quite quickly. My apologies. As previously mentioned I have some Blog ideas coming up that may or may not interest you, so please keeps your eyes peeled and ears to the ground...or follow me on Twitter @Kerrybelle.....everything goes on there. I also make funnies too.
